How do we make reuse of raw materials, (building) materials, trees and shrubs as accessible as possible?
About
Becoming the biggest and best circular platform in the Netherlands, that is Insert's goal. To achieve this, we started working with Insert on a customized digital platform, digital commerce and B2B marketing for optimal online presence.
Insert was set up as a foundation so that people have the opportunity to be part of it. Together with partners, Insert wants to do circular business and make a circular impact. "The circular economy is an economy of and for all of us."
Observation
Insert Foundation is an initiative of engineering firm BOOT. In cooperation with 12 demolition companies, Insert was launched in 2018. A foundation that started with the goal of stimulating the reuse of (construction) materials and raw materials. This was later joined by an understanding of circular opportunities in the green and civil sectors. "Working towards a sustainable world, less waste and conservation of primary raw materials and reducing CO2 emissions." A great goal in which we as BTTR can agree with.

Challenge
Make reuse of raw materials, (building) materials, trees and shrubs as accessible as possible.
With this bright challenge, the idea of an Insert Marketplace was born.
Solution: the Insert marketplace
We developed the website and the Insert Marketplace for Insert. The website aims to provide insight into the foundation's activities and circular opportunities. The Insert Marketplace was developed to make reuse accessible.
For the platform, we have developed a GraphQL API. Through this API, a connection is made with the platform. This means that, for example, a demolisher on a construction site with a recording application can offer materials on the marketplace. Thus, other users get to see these materials and can buy them directly.
Not only did we find this a very beautiful project, we also get very enthusiastic about the cooperation with the Insert foundation. Because of the many common ground we share with Insert, we chose to join as a Gaudi partner. Gaudis are strategic partners who contribute to the circular objectives. With this collaboration we both strengthen our network and can share knowledge and insights.
